WE ARE SORRY BUT WE HAVE TO CLOSE REGISTRATION

We have some bittersweet news to share with our community. Due to an overwhelming response from dedicated coaches, we are closing registration for this year's season earlier than anticipated. We have reached our maximum capacity for coaches and want to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are grateful for the outpouring of support from our coaching community. Please keep an eye out for when registration opens back up for the next season. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you on the field soon!

FAQs

When does registration start for the new season?
Registration for the 2025 season will start on January 1st, 2025. We will also run registration into April. However, a late fee will be charged after March 30, 2025.
When will practices and games begin?
Practice will begin on Monday March 31, 2025 and games will begin on or around May 1, 2025.
How old does my child have to be to participate in baseball or softball?
Any child that would like to play baseball or softball with RYBSA must reach age 5 by May 1st.
Where will practices and games be held?
As of this moment all practices will be held at Little Blue Trace Park. Coaches may move practices to a different loaction after games have started depending on field availability. As of December 2024 all games will be held at Little Blue Trace Field located at 13498 E. 87th St., Kansas City, Missouri 64139.
May I be on the field or dugout with my child during practices and/or games?
Due to laws and safety, the only peopl allowed in dugouts or on fields are our volunteers who have passed a background check. If you would like to volunteer please email us at raytownybsa@gmail.com and we will send you a volunteer application.

MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation (YDF) is a joint initiative by MLB and MLBPA
to support efforts that focus on improving the caliber, effectivness, and availability of
amateur baseball and softball programs across the United States and internationally. From
local-baseb programs to the Hank Aaron Invitational and HBCU Swingman Classic, the 
foundation helps make youth baseball and softball more accessivle - creating economic
opportunites, strengthening communites, and building character - on and off the field.
