By the year 2015, there were no organized youth baseball or softball programs in the city of Raytown. But in 2023, a diverse group of Raytown citizens came together to begin the Raytown Youth Baseball-Softball Association. From a flat-footed start in January they introduced a K - 7 baseball program that began practices at Little Blue Trace in March and kicked off an 8 week season the first of May. It was a great success: 100 players, 20 coaches, 6 umpires and a host of volunteers pioneered a league notable for its excellence of sportsmanship, teaching and fun. This year we will be expanding baseball and launching softball for the girls. Come join us and spread the word!
